What to bring
Practice and game gear
Uniform kits come later. Each player should show up to practice with the basics below. Ferraro Field 2 is synthetic turf. Starting with U8, players may also use Field 7, which is real grass. Turf shoes work well on both surfaces.
- Water bottle Label it with your player’s name.
- Soccer ball Size 3 for U8 · size 4 for U10 and U12 · size 5 for U14 and up.
- Shin guards Required at practice and games. Tall socks go over the guards.
- Turf or indoor shoes Turf shoes work on Field 2 and Field 7. Grass cleats are for Field 7 only, not synthetic Field 2.

U6 and younger
No weekday practice preferences needed
Weekday team-practice preferences are collected for U8, U10, U12, and U14.
U6 midweek practice is the First Touch Soccer session Monday and Wednesday, 4:30–5:30 PM at Ferraro Field 2. Playground and Schoolyard remain Saturday-only.

First Touch Soccer (FTS) schedule
First Touch Soccer runs U6 midweek practice. Optional Friday World Cup scrimmages are a separate activity at Ferraro Field 7.
- U6 skills — Mon & Wed · 4:30–5:30 PM · Ferraro Field #2 (starts Wed, Sept 9; no FTS Labor Day Mon, Sept 7)
- U8 skills — Mon & Wed · 5:30–6:30 PM · Ferraro Field #2 (starts Wed, Sept 9; no FTS Labor Day Mon, Sept 7)
- Preseason clinics — Mon & Wed evenings · Aug 17–26 · Field #2
- World Cup scrimmages — Fri · 5:00–6:00 PM · Field #7 · U6–U8 (optional)
